The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides funding for water and sewer infrastructure projects to be administered through the Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund Program (CWSRF) and the Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund Program (DWSRF). The Maine Municipal Bond Bank is the financial administrator for both programs in the State of Maine. Maine will be receiving a total of $30,336,800 of ARRA funding for the CWSRF program and $19,500,000 of ARRA funding for the DWSRF program. The DEP and DHHS have provided a list of the intended uses of these funds on their web pages. A link to each of those sites is provided below. The details of each loan made from these funds will be posted on the federal website for stimulus funding (Recovery.gov) as required by the ARRA. For additional information about the use of these funds in Maine, please visit the website links provided below, or contact Karen Asselin, the SRF Program Officer at the MMBB, at 1-800-821-1113.
